We replaced our valve stems in three faucets a year ago with these new parts. The design is slightly simpler than the original and better. They work flawlessly and they have allowed us to keep our otherwise excellent condition Dorf faucets.
They are easy to install and adjust. The only very minor difficulty is that the top decorative nut holding the handle in place is slightly off in its threading. Simply use a wrench with light pressure, carefully align the nut and and they screw on well.
The color is very close to the original gold plating and you can't tell the difference. We highly recommend this replacement part.
